Specs: This is the third VA I bought. This one is a flame maple body. This guitar along with the 24 fret came from another guy I know in the UK who was scaling down his collection. This guitar is a tad heavier than the others I have but it's not too heavy. The flame makes a change from the usual quilt. It is a tight pin stripe flame that is nice and even all over. I gotta say this is probably the best sounding guitar out of all my VA's. It's thge usual EMG SA/SA/85 set up. The neck is pretty chunky too.Close to a 62 Strat my mate has. Ths is the only VA I have with the scalloping at the rear of the body around the neck joint. I'm not sure when they started doing this.
