Specs: The body is made of 1 piece quilted maple. The neck is one piece birdseye maple with ebony fingerboard and pearl dot inlays. The pickups are the original factory placed EMGs. There are three knobs, volume, tone and midrange boost. The hardware is black and THE COLOR is really something else. It is a kind of Tiger Eye or Trnparent Bronze. Really unique, an eyecatcher!!! This guitar is ALL ORIGINAL. The sound of this guitar is incredible. Big, clear and full of tone and sustain. Due to the interlock neck joint, I can have full access up to the 24 fret. The playability of this guitar is excellent. I was told by Don Grosh, who used to be a Master builder at VA during those days that they only made a very small number of interlock guitars. Perhaps only 25. Might be true However, they are really excellent.
